Vaccination is the artificial creation of immunity of the population to certain diseases. With the help of vaccinations, the immune system “learns” to fight serious diseases, and when confronted with them in real life, the vaccinated person does not get sick, or the disease is mild. According to WHO estimates, immunization saves up to 2-3 million lives annually.
