Social card for families with many children
I only wrote what the social security employee explained to us, who issued this one social card to us for the whole family. In the region it’s the same - social cards for schoolchildren. Now I’m going to apply for mine in September, when the school will issue a certificate for the second one. And one parent (me) has a social card. But, as I was told, it is tied precisely to the age of our youngest. That’s exactly what they said. I’m thinking, will they take it away next?
Where to use the card?
The advantage of the document is its versatility. It allows you to get the following privileges:
- Free or discounted travel on surface and underground public transport. Cards of citizens who have received housing subsidies and expectant mothers have a built-in Troika electronic application. You can pay by card:
- in Mosgortrans and the Moscow metro;
- on social routes of all transport companies in the Moscow region;

- Receiving discounts in pharmacies, stores, dry cleaners participating in the discount program.
- The ability to pay for services or purchases in supermarkets, hypermarkets, and stores equipped with special electronic devices that allow you to use a card. Payment is made by non-cash method. - impossibility of use as a financial and payment instrument abroad.
- a means of free travel on public transport;
- admission to general education institutions of the capital;
- a tool for making an appointment with a doctor at a selected medical institution (paid and free services);

Then he will be given a temporary unified social card (UESB). It can be used for 30 days. The beginning of the period of use is the time of the first passage in underground/overground public transport.
- To travel on a bus, trolleybus, or tram, you need to touch the black circle of the validator installed at the entrance to the vehicle with your document. A light will light up, indicating that the passage is open.
- To be checked by the controller, you need to have the VESB, a document that confirms the status of the beneficiary, and an identity card.
- To find out when the travel card expires, you need to touch it to the black circle of the validator, after which the necessary information will appear on the screen.
- Touch the yellow circle on the turnstile with your document and wait until the green light comes on.
- To find out until what time the ticket is valid, use the yellow information terminal. Such devices are installed in almost all subway stations. Attach the document to the device, and the necessary information will be displayed on the monitor.
- If the document is damaged, the following message will appear on the screen: “Ticket is defective.” In this case, you should contact the employees of the Moscow Metro passenger agency. Agency addresses will be indicated on the device when checking the card.
- To check the document, metro workers need to provide the VESB, a passport, and a document confirming the right to receive benefits.
- Only its owner can use the card. A person who uses someone else's card will be fined 2,500 rubles. Issues fines to the Transportation Organizer State Public Institution.

- If a turnstile is installed in the vehicle, you must attach the WESB to it. The procedure is carried out at the entrance to the salon and at the exit from it.
- On the Moscow Railway, including on the Moscow-Tver section, a temporary single pass is not valid (or is valid only with a certificate with the SNILS number issued by the Moscow Pension Fund). Labor veterans submit a veteran's certificate to the VESB railway cash desk.
After the period for using the temporary single ticket has expired, its owner must visit RUSZN to receive a Muscovite social card. You must take with you the VESB, the receipt issued when you issued the card, as well as your passport with Moscow registration.
The service employees take the receipt and the VESB, and in return give the beneficiary a personal SCM.
To travel on commuter trains of the Moscow junction, as well as on the Moscow-Tver section, the card holder must contact the ticket office of the suburban station and say where he is going to go, whether he is traveling one way or both, and show the cashier his map.
If the card holder has the right to preferential use of railway transport, he will be given a cash-free ticket - the travel will be included in the card. Now you need to touch the validator with the plastic carrier on the side of the turnstile or on top if the reading device is located there (the same as in the subway). After the procedure, a passage to the platform will open. In order to leave the platform and enter the city, you will need to touch the card to the turnstile again.
To be verified by the controller, you need to present him with a plastic carrier, which he will scan using a special portable validator. To avoid possible misunderstandings, do not throw away the receipt received at the ticket office before you arrive at your destination.
Many metro stations provide the opportunity to obtain a card. This is done in several steps:

- it is filled in block letters;
- then a photograph is pasted into the form;
- in order for the filling to be simple and understandable, you need to study the description on the back side;
- The completed document is sent to the dean's office. There you will need to put the seal of the university, and the rector or dean will also sign it.
