Basic rules for drawing up a power of attorney

There is no specially developed and approved form. You can use a ready-made template or create your own. However, the form must contain the required information:

  • the name of the document – ​​in our case it is “power of attorney”;
  • name of the locality or city where the form is compiled;
  • Date of preparation;
  • information about the principal (full name and details of the organization, position of the person certifying the power of attorney, this can be a director or a person replacing him);
  • grounds allowing the principal to endorse such documents (for example, Charter, order of appointment, etc.);
  • information about the authorized person (his full name, passport details);
  • about the purposes of issuing a permit, for example, to receive correspondence, and indicate the name of the specific enterprise where you will need to apply;
  • period of validity of the paper (it can be issued both for one-time orders, for a limited period or indefinitely).

In addition, you can specify other powers in a separate paragraph. At the end, the manager puts his personal signature and seal of the enterprise.

In any case, the person who issued the power of attorney to another citizen can revoke the document, then it will be considered invalid.

If the validity period of the power of attorney is not specified, then it is automatically considered valid for a year.

How to compose

Like a power of attorney to receive wages, written authority to receive mail can certify:

  • notary
  • a person replacing a notary (Article 185.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation)
  • organization where the person issuing the power of attorney studies or works,

But there is a nuance. A power of attorney to receive valuable correspondence is certified exclusively by a notary.

Postal workers may require that the original power of attorney to receive mail be given to them. If this instruction (like a power of attorney) is one-time, it is legal. But when the power of attorney to receive mail is “reusable,” it is better to keep it.

What to pay attention to

A power of attorney form to receive mail from an organization is usually filled out for one of the employees. This is usually done by a secretary or accountant. But this is optional. By law, such a representative can be any adult citizen. How to receive mail without a power of attorney

There is an option to deliver the shipment directly to your home, but in this case several conditions must be taken into account:

  1. To receive it you need to call the post office.
  2. Such a letter (or parcel) should not exceed 2 kg in weight.
  3. Delivery cost is 100 rubles per 1 shipment.
  4. Delivery is carried out only on weekdays from 08:00 to 16:00.
  5. The item can only be delivered to the address that belongs to a given post office (you can check it by zip code).
  6. You can receive a shipment only if it is located at your post office (and not just arrived in your city).

Residents of Moscow can use the courier delivery service. In this case, the shipment can be received at any address, and the cost of the service is 199 rubles per 1 letter or parcel. You can receive it even on weekends (the time is the same for all days of the week - from 09:00 to 20:00).

There are no other legal options for receiving mail without a power of attorney.

How to write a document correctly
