Qualification requirements for an electrician
To perform the duties assigned to an electrician, he must have a certain level of qualification, expressed in assigning the employee the appropriate rank - from 1 (the lowest) to 6, at which the electrician receives the right to independently carry out the most complex work. Categories are assigned by a special commission based on the results of passing a qualification exam, in which the employee is required to demonstrate both knowledge of theoretical work rules and practical skills. A system of admission groups is also used to determine the qualifications of an employee. There are 5 of them, with the first group being received by a person who simply knows how to work with electrical appliances and provide first aid in case of damage, the fifth - engineers and other employees involved in organizing electrical work, as well as a few specialists working with installations that use voltages over 1000 V .
Specifics of drawing up a job description
Domestic legislation still lacks standards mandatory for drawing up job descriptions. Therefore, employers have considerable freedom in writing it, provided that it does not contradict the employment contract and the provisions of labor legislation. However, when creating it, employers are guided by certain standards, especially regarding the structure of the document. The standard instructions include 4 parts:

Electrician of the fifth category
The responsibilities of an employee with the fifth category include marking out places where all the equipment necessary to provide the building with electricity and related equipment will be installed and assembled.
