The honorary title “Veteran of Labor” currently entails the provision of a number of benefits, compensation and subsidies. Regional authorities are given the right to approve the amount of compensation payments and benefits. Recognition of the merits and professional achievements of working citizens of Russia is regulated by the Federal Law of January 12, 1995 N 5-FZ “On Veterans”. How to obtain a veteran labor title in Tatarstan

The authorized body for recognizing labor merits and granting veteran status to residents of Tatarstan is the Republican Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection. To obtain a certificate, you must prepare a package of documents:

• copies of all pages of the general passport;
• two photographs measuring 3x4;
• awards for labor success. The list of considered insignia has been legislatively approved in Tatarstan since 2012;
• documents confirming the terms of employment (original work book, archival extracts, certificate from the current place of work);

The prepared documents are submitted to the social security department at the place of residence; after 35 calendar days, the applicant will receive a written notification with the decision of a special commission under the Ministry of Labor and Employment.

What documents will be needed

Review of documents in social protection of the population lasts for 35 days, after which the applicant will receive a refusal or a positive response. The citizen receives a notice of receipt of a special act.

Documents that need to be provided:

1. Civil passport of the Russian Federation and copies of all pages containing information about the applicant.
2. Two high-quality photos measuring 3 by 4 cm.
3. Papers confirming the issuance of certain state awards, incentives, and thanks for labor service.
4. Certificates and extracts, including from archives, confirming the presence of the required work experience.

A labor veteran can receive benefits only after he has been issued a certificate of the appropriate type.
This document is the main basis for receiving all the benefits, payments and various preferences due to the veteran. An application drawn up according to a general, official form is attached to the documents. After the papers have been submitted for consideration, you must wait for a decision to be made.

If the decision is positive, the executive body - the public protection service - issues a corresponding document - an act. It is subsequently used to issue a veteran’s certificate to the citizen.

If a negative decision is made, the applicant may receive a corresponding document with a refusal. It is issued within five days from the date of the decision. The paper must indicate the reason for the refusal.

If the applicant does not agree with the decision made, having a refusal in hand, he has the right to go to court to appeal. In some cases, it is enough just to resubmit the application and attach all previously missing documents.

What benefits apply to labor veterans in Tatarstan in 2021

The first thing to note: benefits, according to the law, are accrued if a labor veteran in Tatarstan is also an age pensioner:
