JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ADMINISTRATOR OF A TRADE ENTERPRISE


I. General provisions

  1. The sales floor administrator belongs to the category of specialists.
  2. The sales floor administrator must know:
      2.1. Law of the Russian Federation “On the Protection of Consumer Rights”, other laws establishing requirements for trade.
  3. 2.2. Rules for the sale of certain types of goods and other regulatory legal acts on issues of trade services.
  4. 2.3. Resolutions, instructions, orders, other governing and regulatory documents of higher and other bodies relating to the work of a trading enterprise.
  5. 2.4. The structure of enterprise management, the rights and obligations of enterprise employees and their work schedule.
  6. 2.5. Rules and methods for organizing the customer service process.
  7. 2.6. Types of goods sold by the enterprise and services provided.
  8. 2.7. Fundamentals of marketing and advertising organization.
  9. 2.8. Basics of display (positioning) of goods.
  10. 2.9. Principles of planning and design of the sales area and shop windows.
  11. 2.10. Fundamentals of aesthetics, ethics and social psychology.

  17. During the absence of the sales floor administrator (vacation, illness, etc.), his duties are performed by a person appointed in the prescribed manner. This person acquires the corresponding rights and is responsible for the proper performance of the duties assigned to him.

OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS IN EMERGENCIES

4.1 In an emergency, people around you should be notified of the danger. Report this to your immediate supervisor.

4.2 If a fire is detected or in the event of a fire:

immediately disconnect electrical equipment from the network; ensure the evacuation of clients from the hotel; report to the fire department by calling 101 and the administration; start extinguishing the fire using the available primary fire extinguishing means in accordance with the fire safety instructions.

4.3 If there is a threat to life, leave the premises.

4.4 If breakdowns of electrical appliances occur that threaten an accident at the workplace, it is necessary to stop operation, as well as the supply of electricity to it.

4.5 In the event of an accident, immediately provide (organize) first aid to the victim, take measures to preserve the situation of the incident (condition of the equipment and workplace), if this does not create a danger to others, report to management and, if necessary, call an ambulance by calling 103.

II. Job responsibilities

Administrator of the trading floor:

  1. Manages the sales floor staff (salespeople, sales consultants, cashiers).
  2. Prepares and submits orders for the supply of goods from storage locations.
  3. Organizes the supply of goods to the sales floor and supervises the work of displaying goods.
  4. Maintains operational records of goods balances on the sales floor and reports ... data on goods with a critical minimum balance, with a critical expiration date, as well as information on goods of increased, uniform and reduced demand.

      inventory of goods on the sales floor;

  7. Monitors compliance by sales floor personnel with:
      proper quality and culture of customer service in the provision of trade services;
  8. rules for the sale of goods and sanitary and hygienic requirements;
  9. labor protection and safety rules, fire safety.
  10. Provides service to customers making large purchases.
  11. Organizes information for buyers:
      about goods (their consumer properties, assortment, prices, etc.);
  12. about the related services provided (assembly, connection, delivery, etc.);
  13. about the operating hours of the trading enterprise.
  14. If necessary, assists customers in selecting products.
  15. Organizes checks of the quality and safety of goods on sale and their expiration dates.
  16. Removes from sale low-quality goods, expired goods, faulty and defective goods.
  17. Monitors the presence of price tags on goods.
  18. Monitors compliance by employees of the trading floor with labor and production discipline, rules and regulations of labor protection, safety precautions, sanitation and hygiene requirements.
  19. Monitors abuse by sales floor staff.
  20. Takes measures to resolve conflict situations with customers.
  21. Informs the management of the trading enterprise about shortcomings in customer service.
  22. Monitors the serviceability of the sales floor equipment and informs the management of the retail establishment about equipment malfunctions in order to take the necessary measures.
  23. Analyzes the results of the trading floor in the following areas:
      information on sales volumes (by product groups, by specific products);
  24. information about changes in the range of goods on the sales floor.
  25. Serves the operations of return, write-off, revaluation and reservation of goods.
  26. Uses automated sales management systems on the sales floor.
  27. Prepares reports on the movement of goods.
  28. Participates in inventories.
  29. In extreme situations, organizes the evacuation of customers from the trading floor, calls the police, ambulance, etc.

Job description of the manager (administrator) of the trading floor

Along with the title “trading floor manager,” the title “trading floor administrator” is used. The differences in the responsibilities of employees under these titles are usually minor.

Employers should still be careful about under what name—“administrator” or “manager”—the unit should be entered into the staffing table, since an administrator belongs to the category of specialists, and a manager belongs to the category of managers.
