For other organizations the event is not mandatory. But they can also (at the initiative of the employer) periodically conduct certification for suitability for the position held. The procedure for carrying out the verification should be specified in the Certification Regulations.

In Art. 81 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation provides for the possibility of dismissal due to the worker’s inadequacy for the position held. Moreover, the confirmation of the legality of such dismissal should be the results of the audit.
